Kōkua for Kaʻū · Community-led disaster relief in Pāhala

Pāhala helping Pāhala

Kaumahana Hub grew from the practical aloha of family, neighbors, and friends responding together after Hurricane Lala.

Led by ʻohana. Open to community.

Brothers Napoleon Kailiawa and Lincoln Kailiawa, their hānai brother Demetrius Oliveira, and their ʻohana and extended network of friends and families operate the relief hub at 96-1164 Kaumahana Street.

The hub’s purpose is simple: help people find trusted information, connect available resources to current needs, honor every person and organization that contributes, and keep the long recovery visible.

Recovery is not a single event. It is a promise to keep showing up.
